Armenian defense minister recieves Chargé d'Affaires and Military Attaché of Greek Embassy
Armenian Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan received Dimitrios Fotopoulos, Charge d'Affaires of the Hellenic Republic in Armenia, and Colonel Dimosthenis Simayakis, military attaché of the embassy.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and achievements of the bilateral Armenian-Greek defense cooperation, the further course of development of cooperation. The Greek side confirmed the continuation of military education and training programs in the Greek language.
Minister Tonoyan highlighted the importance of holding military-political consultations and expressed the hope that the already planned measures will be carried out in the near future.
During the meeting, issues of regional security were discussed. The defense minister presented the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the regional destabilizing developments taking place over it.
