Azerbaijan targets 2 factories in Armenia's Berd
Presenting the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijan border during a briefing in Ijevan, former spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan told reporters that as of today, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have targeted Armenian settlements.
“In particular, Azerbaijan has targeted the Chinari, Aygepar, Nerkin Karmiraghbyur and Paravakar villages of Tavush Province. The city of Berd has been shelled. Two factories of the city have been specifically targeted. Homes and natural gas pipelines have been damaged in these villages, and a few times at that, but the damages have been recovered. Civilians are targeted, and fortunately, there are no victims among the civilians,” he said, noting that during the shelling, the Armed Forces of Armenia completed their tasks and silenced the adversary in all possible ways.
According to Hovhannisyan, the adversary used artillery, tanks and mortars. “Tomorrow the Armenian side will try to organize info tours and see the destruction and the remains of the weapons and ammunition that were used,” he added.
