Peskov called ignorant and crazy people who deny the existence of coronavirus
The Kremlin has criticized people who do not understand the seriousness and level of danger of coronavirus infection, Gazeta reports.
Spokesman for the Russian president Dmitry Peskov, who was infected with COVID-19, said that such suspicious people are at least illiterate and, at worst, insane.
"This disease exists, this disease is unique," Peskov added on "Russia 1" TV channel.
He noted that the disease is terrible from time to time. "Sometimes there are vague feelings during the illness," he explained.
Peskov said that he was diagnosed with a new type of coronavirus on May 12. Her wife, Tatiana Navka, said her husband had been discharged from the hospital two weeks after receiving treatment on May 25.
Today, the total number of infected people in the world exceeds 12 million, more than 550 thousand people have died as a result of the coronavirus.
