According to Sport24, a decision will be made today that the citizens of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states will no longer be considered legionnaires in the Russian football championships. Since February 2019, the players representing Belarus have not been considered legionnaires in Russia.
Such a decision was made in January of this year, which is enshrined in the order of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation "On approving restrictions on the participation of players who do not have the right to play in Russian national teams." The decision will come into force on July 1, 2020.
Let us remind you that at the moment Varazdat Haroyan, Alexander Karapetyan, Erik Vardanyan and Arthur Sarkisov are playing in the Russian championships.
