Athletes have joined the fight against racism on social media
The campaign was launched by black women working in music, Jalia Thomas and Brianna Agemang. The aim of the action was to close all the pages of the social networking sites on Tuesday, opposing the murder of George Floyd, who was killed in the United States.
Many famous athletes and clubs have expressed their support for #BlackOutTuesday.
Barcelona captain Leo Messi has joined the action on his Twitter page.
Killian Mbabane, Neymar, Paulo Dybala and the head coach of the Ukrainian national football team Andrei Shevchenko did the same, for which he was criticized in the homeland.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has released a video in which children of different skin colors happily hug. "We are united," he wrote.
